Distinctive Renovations By Design has been in business for over 30 years and serves the Greater Atlanta area.  Our services fall into 3 general categories: Total Home Renovation Disability Access Services Residential Lifts & Elevators Distinctive Renovations By Design is fully recognized by the Greater Atlanta Home builders and Remodelers Association.  We provide detailed bids that include separate line item costs in order to provide every client with a clear picture of the overall project. Distinctive Renovations is a state approved  "Residential-Light Commercial Contractor." A residential-basic contractor may construct, remodel or repair detached one-family and two-family residences and one-family townhouses not over three stories in height and their accessory buildings and structures. Scope of Work for Residential-Light Commercial License: Residential-Light Commercial contractor license covers any contractor work or activity performed by a residential-basic contractor and, shall include such contractor work or activity related to multifamily and multi-use light commercial buildings and structures, and their related accessory buildings and structures, which are less than four stories in height; less than 25,000 square feet and are constructed of wood or light gauge metal frame, brick veneer, prefabricated, or manufactured type of construction; or are pre-engineered steel buildings not exceeding 50,000 square feet of interior floor space; provided that such buildings do not constitute a special hazard and are under 4 stories in height.
